From event coordination to community outreach, our volunteer roles encompass a variety of opportunities suited for individuals eager to make a positive impact in our community. All roles and times are up to you! Help for an hour or three! Looking for help the fourth weekend in July from the Thursday until Sunday.
High School Volunteer
Join our dynamic team of high school volunteers and gain valuable experience by assisting with event setup, help with organizing and judging exhibits, takedown, and supervision of inflatables. Make a difference while earning volunteer hours and creating memorable experiences for our community! Help on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the fair weekend.
Bartender
Calling all certified bartenders with Smart Serve! We need your expertise to keep the drinks flowing at our fair on Saturday from 11 am to 5pm, and at the dance from 5 pm to 1 am. Additionally, we're seeking bartenders for Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. Even just volunteering for 1 hour at a time is a great help to us! Join us in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees!
Admissions
Volunteer at the gates of our fair and be the welcoming face of our event! Help with admissions on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday night from 5 pm to 1 am, or Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Join us in creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees!
Supervision
Supervise youth inflatables on the ice surface and ensure a safe and fun experience for all participants! Join us on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and help create lasting memories for our young attendees!
Set Up
Join our enthusiastic team for fair set-up on Thursday and play a vital role in creating a vibrant atmosphere! Help with displays, decorations, posters, exhibits, fencing, youth activities, and more. Your efforts will help make our fair a success!
Take Down
Join us for fair take-down starting Saturday from 4 pm to 5 pm, and lend a hand in dismantling our event. We also need assistance on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm. Your help in wrapping up will ensure a smooth conclusion to our successful fair!
Photographer
Calling all local photographers with a passion for capturing moments! Donate your time throughout the weekend to snap photos for our social media accounts, website designs, and more. Your creative eye will help us showcase the best of the Zurich Country Fair to the world!
School Judging
We're seeking individuals eager to judge or assist with youth school exhibits at the Zurich Community Center on Thursday. Join us in supporting and celebrating the creative talents of our young participants!
Sell Tickets
Volunteer with us to sell tickets for drinks at our dance or handle admissions at our gates, and be a crucial part of creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees!
Assistant to Judge
Join us in the morning on Friday to assist judges in various roles such as scribing, placing ribbons, and organizing tables. Your support ensures the smooth operation of our event and contributes to a fair and successful judging process!
Grounds
We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers willing to help prepare our fairgrounds for the weekend! Assist with setting up fences, outdoor bar areas, signage, and more, and be a crucial part of creating an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees.
